Mariah Carey’s Got A New Man, But What Does Nick Cannon Think?
Mariah Carey has a new rumored romance with Australian businessman James Packer. So what does Nick Cannon think about Carey’s new man? The couple have already proved that they’re excellent at co-parenting, but what is it like to co-parent while the other has a new significant other?
According to E!, Cannon is thrilled to see Carey find love again and that there’s no drama between the two. “Nick and Mariah are on better terms these days. Mariah is in really good spirits and there has not been arguments with them for sometime now. Nick is doing really well in his personal life and he just wants Mariah to be happy. He feels as long as his kids are in good hands, he will support any decision Mariah makes.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Nick has moved on as well. Back in March, the Inquisitr reported that Cannon has moved on from Mariah with model Jessica White. Back then, it was said that although the model is smitten with Cannon, she did understand that Mariah and Nick are still parents first, and didn’t seem to mind staying in the background, especially during such a new relationship.
Since Mariah and Nick’s divorce isn’t finalized yet, Jessica has been laying low, “Out of respect for Nick’s family since the divorce is not final.”
Prior to the news breaking about his new romance, Cannon told Extra, “I’m not dating anyone… I don’t have time… I’m trying to focus on being the best father I can possibly be, and business, we have so many things, from the book to my philanthropic efforts to all the shows and movies I’m producing.”

As for Mariah’s rumored beau, James, the two were spotted on James’ yacht in Ibiza. It’s said that Packer is worth an estimated $4.7 billion and that he’s considered the fourth richest man in Australia. Looks like Carey hit the jackpot!
Although both Nick and Mariah have moved on with their significant others, sources have told E!, “Mariah will always be in Nick’s life that will never change. It makes Nick happy that Mariah is in a great place in her life between work and love. He will always love her and support her no matter what happened between their relationship in the past.”
