Dylan, Cole Sprouse: Graduation From NYU Turns Into ‘Zack and Cody’ Style Twin Prank [Video]

Dylan and Cole Sprouse swapped graduation places when the big day of their New York University graduation arrived. Although the famous twins are all grown up in Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, guys just gotta have fun.

So when the 22-year-old adult versions of Zack and Cody took to the stage to receive their diplomas, they pulled a final college prank, reported Us Weekly.

What happened after Dylan and Cole swapped places on stage?

“We actually received each other’s diplomas,” said Cole.

The Sprouse graduation game is forever preserved in pictures.

“In fact, if you look up my graduating photo you’ll see,” said Dylan. “We just decided, you know, there’s no reason not to. No one’s going to notice.”

And although they were child stars with the Disney channel, the twins stayed united in their agreement to bypass NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Cole focused on archaeology, and Dylan majored in video game design.

Now that the Sprouse twins have graduated, they want more out of their lives than the entertainment industry, they agreed.

“The one thing I knew for sure about myself is I didn’t want to study acting,” emphasized Dylan. “It was something we had done and something that we don’t really need to train all that much more for.”

However, even though he and Cole have graduated from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, the Sprouse twins haven’t left their sense of humor behind.

“Dylan and I really like to have fun with our image in the industry,” Cole told Teen Vogue.

“Both of our IMDb pages have like black and white photos from when we were maybe 13. So we’re trying to keep that going,” added Dylan.

However, the two are serious about a future that sometimes includes Hollywood.

“We’ve sent a couple of tapes into a couple projects just to keep ourselves up to date. What’s also funny about auditioning now is Dylan and I are looking to do things together, but also things apart. We have to come to terms with the fact that we’re going to be put in competition with one another, which is both a healthy thing and an unhealthy thing for two twins who were always in competition.”

If they’re looking for an acting job together, they may want to check in over at the revival of Full House. As the Inquisitr reported, another pair of famous twins, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, have declined to appear in Fuller House, leaving a room in the house for Cole and Dylan.
