Chris ‘Cupcake’ Strandburg Jokes About His Crying After Kaitlyn Bristowe Sends Him Home, Hangs With Shawn Booth
Chris “Cupcake” Strandburg is poking fun at himself for how much he cried when Kaitlyn Bristowe sent him home. As Monday night’s The Bachelorette episode aired, Chris jokingly asked another contestant, Tanner Tolbert, whether he has more of those tissues that he presented to Britt Nilsson on the first night of the competition.

On Monday night’s episode, Chris and Kaitlyn went on a helicopter ride over some cliffs during their one-on-one date in Ireland. Unfortunately for Chris, Kaitlyn confessed that she couldn’t see herself spending the rest of her life with him. Left alone on a cliff while Kaitlyn flew away in the helicopter, Chris broke down in tears. At the edge of the cliff, Chris wiped his tears with his scarf while one of the show’s producers comforted him. Chris later commented to the camera that Kaitlyn doesn’t know what she wants.
While Chris, the dentist from Nashville who arrived on the show in a giant cupcake car, wasn’t the guy for Kaitlyn, she still thinks highly of him. As the episode aired, Kaitlyn tweeted her praise for Chris.

She also retweeted a tweet from Life & Style magazine that said that Chris should be the next star ofThe Bachelor.

If Chris “Cupcake” Strandburg does become the next The Bachelor star, former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman will likely tune in. Andi posted a series of tweets that made clear that she found Cupcake entertaining.
She first poked fun at Kaitlyn and Chris’ crying.

She then pondered about Chris being left on the cliff.
“Cliffhanger… How does Chris get off the cliff? Tune in next week… #TheBachelorette.”
Andi joked that she was so worried about Chris that she couldn’t sleep.
“Can’t sleep.. I HAVE to know if Cupcake is okay (really just need free dental work ) #TheBachelorette.”
While Chris “Cupcake” Strandburg didn’t leave the show with a wife, he did leave having made a new friend. On Thursday, he posted a photo of himself with Shawn Booth. The two went to a music show in Nashville.
Will Shawn be the one to make it to the end with Kaitlyn? On Monday night’s episode, Shawn, frustrated by seeing her with the other men, confronted Kaitlyn about her feelings for him several times. At one point, he point blank asked Kaitlyn if she loved him, to which she replied that she was falling in love with him. He also confronted her about having told him in an unaired scene that he was the one for her while they were in Texas.
Kaitlyn Bristowe cried a lot of tears as she freaked out about Shawn Booth possibly finding out that she had sex with Nick Viall and leaving. As reported by the Inquistir last week, Nick praised Kaitlyn for admitting to viewers that they had sex. Will next week’s episode of The Bachelorette finally show Katilyn confessing her secret to Shawn and the other men?
