Adam Lind & Chelsea Houska Custody Battle Update

Adam Lind and Chelsea Houska were at odds during filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 6. As the season played out, the former couple battled it out over the custody of their daughter, Aubree, and in one scene, Adam Lind declared, “I’m going to walk out of the court room with custody!”

However, according to a June 29 report by Radar Online, Adam Lind did not get custody of Aubree during Season 6, and he isn’t expected to get custody in the near future.

“There is just one more court date in September. Everything is expected to stay the same.”

The site claimed Adam Lind took Houska, whom he dated years ago, to court in March, demanding unsupervised visits with their daughter, as well as the right to have her in the car with him. In the past, Adam Lind has been charged with DUI a whopping three times and was accused of reckless driving after a fiery crash last year.

“She brought up his long history of arrests and allegations of steroid abuse,” an insider told Radar Online of Houska’s defense, which the judge sided with.

In addition to his driving citations, Adam Lind has been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Brooke Beaton. In November of last year, Beaton filed a restraining order against Adam Lind, claiming he “attacked her” on a number of occasions. Months later, Beaton withdrew her request, but a short time later, another Adam Lind ex, Jessica Nicole, filed for a restraining order.

When they last went to court, Adam Lind was told by the judge that nothing would change between Houska at that time, but that he would reconsider his requests in six months. Either way, Houska is reported unconcerned.

“The judge knows that Chelsea’s a good mom.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Adam Lind appeared to have skipped Aubrey’s graduation from Kindergarten weeks ago. Although Houska shared a number of photos of herself and boyfriend Cole DeBoer at the event, Adam Lind was not seen in any of them, and he doesn’t seem to have shared any photos of his own.

Months ago, regarding a possible meeting between Adam Lind and DeBoer, a source told Radar Online it would not happen on the show.

“[Chelsea Houska] made it clear that Adam and [Cole DeBoer] were not going to hang out for a dramatic scene. It would never happen in real life, so why force it? Adam is not a part of Chelsea’s life, so it’s not important.”
