Teresa Giudice Could Leave Prison Early? ‘RHONJ’ Star Wants To Visit Ailing Parents

Could Teresa Giudice leave prison months before her scheduled release? According to a new report, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star recently decided to request she be temporarily released from custody so that she could spend some time with her parents.

On June 29, a source revealed the following to Radar Online:

“[Teresa Giudice] asked her lawyer to try and get her a weekend furlough that would allow her to leave the prison to visit her parents, Antonia and Giacinto. Giacinto is in poor health, and Teresa just wants to spend time with them. However, [Teresa Giudice] was told there would need to be documentation from her father’s doctor outlining his current health condition. Nothing has changed since she went to prison, and she was advised to not pursue the furlough.”

Unfortunately, Teresa Giudice, who entered prison on January 5 to serve a 15-month term for crimes of bank and wire fraud, will have to wait until she is released from prison on December 23 to reunite with her parents.

According to the insider, Teresa Giudice reportedly told her fellow inmates she wanted to “just go shopping with her mom at the local mall.” In addition, she’s said to be on the outs with prison officials after she began communicating with her fans on Twitter through her teen daughter, Gia, who has shared a number of message from her mother’s official account.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe, and their four daughters recently began filming a reality show, which will chronicle their lives without her. Last week, Radar Online reported the news, claiming Joe didn’t want to be on television, but was left with no choice after his funds began running slim.

“The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in. With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents.”

At the time the spinoff news was revealed, Us Weekly claimed Joe recently opened up about life without Teresa Giudice, and how their daughters have responded.

“Days go by quick. They go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who’s gotta go here? Who’s gotta go there?…They have their little breakdowns here and there. They’ll say, ‘Daddy, when’s she going to be out?’ Or ‘I miss Mommy.’ I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses.”

Teresa Giudice is expected to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for the show’s seventh season upon her release from prison.
