Oprah Winfrey Offers $100 Million Prenup To Stedman Graham

Oprah Winfrey Stedman Graham MarriageOprah Winfrey has offered her longtime man, Stedman Graham, a $100 million prenuptial agreement which would entice almost any man under such gracious circumstances.  While it appears as if Oprah might actually be getting married, National Enquirer reports that Oprah insiders insist she’s “pulling a Kardashian,” a reference to Kim Kardashian‘s allegedly staged wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries back in 2011.  Kim’s marriage lasted a mere 72-days.

Insiders claim that Oprah is staging the wedding in an attempt to bolster her struggling television network which has been steadily declining since it was launched back in the beginning of 2011.  Financial analyst predictions indicate that OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, could lose as much as $140 million this year, if not more.

According to a television industry insider familiar with the situation, Oprah has finally realized that the shows she worked hard to create are not attracting viewers as intended as it’s Winfrey herself who has truly captivated viewers.  To quote the insider and reiterate their point:

“Oprah’s realized that the shows she’s created are just not attracting interest – the fans want to see HER. So she’s devised a secret plan to save OWN by getting married to Stedman on live TV.”

Stedman and Oprah have been dating for more than 25 years.  Graham is 61-years-old and Winfrey is 58-years-old.

A friend of Stedman’s revealed that Oprah had disclosed the wild idea of marriage to her longtime boyfriend at her California estate.  The friend was quoted having said:

“It was a beautiful afternoon and they were walking hand-in-hand in her gardens. There’s something I really need to ask you, Stedman. She began to break down crying, saying she had made a mess of OWN. Then Oprah looked at Stedman and said, ‘You’ve always been my knight in shining armor. Will you finally marry me?’ Stedman was absolutely floored and a little shell-shocked, but he didn’t hesitate and joked, ‘I thought I was the one who asked YOU – 20 years ago! What’s the big rush all of a sudden?’ They both laughed and hugged, and he began wiping away the tears from her eyes. He said to her, ‘You know I’d do anything for you, Oprah. You’ve always been my girl.’”

Stedman’s plan is to present Oprah with his late mother Mary’s engagement ring.  While the diamond is apparently small, it’s the sentimental value that will “make her feel proud to wear it.”

Is Oprah really tying the knot and marrying Stedman or is it just a ruse to boost OWN ratings?

Oprah is not this desperate to pull a wedding stunt. Just putting Oprahs name and that Kardashian womans name in the same story is blasphemous.

Whether she is or isn't trying to boost ratings really doesn't matter as long as the relationship and marriage are real. In this case, after 25 years, it's safe to say they truly love each other, so GO FOR IT! I wish them the best!

  11. Get a life! People can support who they wish. It's sickening how ridiciulous you sound. Learn to disagree without being disagreeable!

Not sure whether to believe this or not. That was such a private moment between the two of them (if it was real), so why would a close friend of Stedman betray that private moment and leak it to the press? I agree with Kirk below. Oprah is not desperate! But I also agree that the viewers want to see HER more than they do anything else. I miss the Oprah Winfrey show :(

@ Princess – STOP, STOP, STOP playing the "race card" – it's people like you who obfuscate the real issue, which is classism. When you play this kind of race card, as YOU have, you make a mockery out of humanity itself. Plus, you create a lose-lose situation, because you insist on putting labels on human beings and thereby create artificial scenarios intended only to create divisiveness and hatred. Shame on ya.
