Rihanna Duct Tapes Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Mouth Shut, Adopts A Bathroom Puppy

Rihanna duct-taped Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s mouth shut at the BET Awards, and the boxer didn’t put up much of a fight.

According to MTV News, no one seems to know why Rihanna felt the need to put a piece of duct tape over Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s mouth. Maybe she was sick of hearing him brag about beating Manny Pacquiao during their much-hyped match-up, or maybe she’s still annoyed with the champ for majorly dissing Muhammad Ali by claiming that it would take a “brainwashing” to convince him that Ali is a better boxer than he is. Refinery 29 has photographic evidence that Rihanna is an Ali fan, so she has a good reason to be annoyed with Mayweather and his mouth.

At first, it looked like Rihanna had simply carried a roll of duct tape into the BET Awards as a rather odd accessory — she was spotted wearing it on her arm like a bracelet at one point during the show.

However, the tape’s true purpose was revealed when Bad Girl RiRi started practicing a little bondage on the boxer sitting next to her. After making sure that Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s dangerous fists were tied together with a bandanna, an irritated-looking Rihanna stuck a piece of tape over the his mouth. She then slid over to the opposite side of her seat while giving Mayweather her best side-eye.

This isn’t the only attention-grabbing behavior that Rihanna exhibited at the BET Awards. According to Hollywood Life, she was much nicer to her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, than she was to Mayweather. She actually showed Breezy a little love by singing and dancing along to the song “Post to Be” during his performance with Omarion.

When Rihanna isn’t tying up boxing champs and jamming out to her ex-boyfriend’s tunes, she’s saving abandoned puppies. According to Gossip Cop, RiRi found herself going home with an unexpected companion after partying at the 1OAK nightclub in Los Angeles on Saturday night — she found a puppy in the club’s bathroom, and she decided to take it home. In a series of Snapchat videos, Rihanna and her friends documented the dog’s discovery.

“Well I found him in the bathroom somewhere and he ran up to me,” Rihanna said in one of the videos. She already bought food, a cage, and wee-wee pads for the potty puppy, so it looks like he’s found a new home. According to RiRi, her new pup’s name is PePe.
