Zendaya Shows Off Her Kris Jenner Hairstyle At The BET Awards
Zendaya Coleman doesn’t care what you think about her short hair. The K.C. Undercover star rocked a Kris Jenner pixie cut at the BET Awards, and she made the mom hair look amazing.
According to Just Jared, Zendaya’s new ‘do is actually just a wig. Judging from one of the actress/singer’s tweets, it sounds like her fake hair was attracting a lot of haters. However, she responded to the Twitter trolls who were cruelly bashing her look by sticking out her tongue and striking her best “short hair, don’t care” pose.

Zendaya didn’t just choose to go short with her hair — she also showed off a lot of leg in a sparkly shirt-dress paired with matching platform high heels. The overall look definitely made her stand out on the BET Awards red carpet.
This isn’t the first time Zendaya has had to deal with a hairstyle getting hate — surely you can’t forget the whole Fashion Police fiasco. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Zendaya was not amused when Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic dissed the long dreadlocks that Zendaya rocked at the Oscars. Giuliana said that the starlet’s hair looked like it smelled like “patchouli oil and weed,” and many viewers felt that the host was making a racist a joke. Zendaya called this comment “outrageously offensive,” and Kelly Osbourne was so upset with Giuliana Rancic that she quit Fashion Police. Hopefully Zendaya’s latest hairstyle doesn’t cause this much drama.
Zendaya obviously loves to rock looks that get a lot of attention, but she doesn’t just want to be known for the way she dresses and styles her hair. During a recent interview with Billboard, she revealed that she’s been working hard on her second album, and she’s teamed up with some pretty impressive names.
“I’ve been in the studio a lot, just trying to create and make something that I’m really, really proud of — I don’t like to rush the process,” Zendaya said. “I’ve been able to, this time around, work with a lot of people that I’ve looked up to for a long time, like Babyface and Timbaland. That was really cool for me.”
Zendaya has also been busy showing her support for her fellow musicians — she recently appeared in Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video as a knife-wielding character named Cutthroat. Zendaya revealed that she came up with the name herself.
“We were just chilling, and it came to my part — I did a little face, and I sliced [across my neck] — and we were like, ‘Hey, that’s tight, like cutthroat.’ Taylor was like, ‘Hey, that’s perfect!'”
