Throughout Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of the Bachelorette, viewers have been shown short updates about Britt and Brady‘s relationship. They appeared to be in love, with Britt accepting Brady’s offer to be “his girl.”
Toops, a singer-songwriter from Nashville, filled his Instagram with sweet photos and sappy captions about the couple since their love story was revealed on the second night of the Bachelorette premiere. However, over the past week, his declarations of love came to a halt.
While there is speculation that Britt and Brady are just dialing back on the social media posts, and enjoying life away from the cameras, blogger Reality Steve states that their relationship has been over for weeks.
“They are done and have been for a while,” states Steve, “I was told it ended pretty quickly after Kaitlyn’s season started airing, and possibly even before that.” He goes on to say that photos of the couple may have been staged to make fans think the relationship was still going strong. Did ABC really need a second love story this season?
One look at Britt’s Instagram account should clear up any rumors that she is still gushing over Brady. She has one photo of the couple, posted right after the Bachelorette‘s May 18 premiere. Her other photos focus on friends and family, and one of Britt with Bachelor producer Elan Gale.
Although some fans seem to be distraught over the news that the couple may have split, the hype about Britt and Brady may end on a good note for at least one of them. According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Britt is rumored to be a top contender for the next Bachelorette.
Perhaps producers kept her in the spotlight so she could transition into her next reality television role. It wouldn’t be the first time the show has used the old “girl has painful breakup and then finds love on TV” storyline on the Bachelorette.
Britt and Brady have not issued a formal announcement about their split, but they may have a contract with ABC that doesn’t allow them to share the information with fans unless it’s done on camera. After last week’s quick update with Britt’s mother, expect host Chris Harrison to break the not-so-surprising news about yet another Bachelor Nation breakup on an upcoming episode of the Bachelorette.
