Dakota Meyer Speaks Out About Palin’s Pregnancy: There Are More Important Things In The World To Be Concerned About [Video]
Dakota Meyer, the ex-fiancee of Bristol Palin, took to Facebook to speak out after her unexpected pregnancy announcement on June 25, but he has yet to break the silence on possibly becoming a father, reports People magazine.
On his Facebook page, Dakota speaks to the media, saying it’s putting on a “dog and pony show,” and there are more important things in the world to be concerned about.
“Within the past 24 hours there have been three terrorist style attacks across the world. There has been an incident at a U.S. company owned gas factory in Lyon, France Leaving one dead and two injured. Another incident in Tunisia with 28 people lost in an assault on a west tourist, mostly British. And finally, a blast at a Shiite mosque in Kuwait.”
Meyer also tweeted this photo.

Meyer, who is a former Marine and Medal of Honor recipient, uploaded a snap of himself with the post, “sitting on a couch in a robe with a smoking pipe balanced in his mouth. In the image, he’s also reading a Marine handbook and holds a sword across his lap. The photo has ‘Still waiting…’ written across the bottom,” reports People. The world is still waiting for Dakota to speak out about whether he will be a father.
Meyer and Palin met when Bristol was filming a reality show with her mother, and they hit it off. Just days before her wedding, however, the family released a statement to speak out about why the Dakota and Bristol called it quits. Although Meyer never released a statement to speak out about the incident, it was revealed he was married prior to meeting Bristol. He supposedly divorced in 2010, but some sources said Dakota never was divorced in the first place, reports the Inquisitr.
The news about Palin’s pregnacy comes a month after her wedding to Dakota Meyer was cancelled, according to the Daily Mail. Dakota’s ex-fiancee made the pregnancy announcement via a blog post on the religious website Patheos, reports People magazine.
“I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant. Honestly, I’ve been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one. I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect [my 6-year-old son] Tripp’s and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy. At the end of the day there’s nothing I can’t do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace.”
The singleton has yet to speak out about whether Dakota Meyer is the father.
