Sofia Vergara Harassed By Pro-Lifers Over Nick Loeb Embryo Battle At ‘Magic Mike XXL’ Premiere

Bet Sofia Vergara didn’t know what she was getting herself into when she froze her embryos with ex-fiancé Nicke Loeb several years ago.

The Modern Family actress can’t catch seem to catch a break from that decision.

At the Magic Mike XXL premiere in Hollywood on Thursday, Sofia Vergara, who is engaged to Magic Mike co-star Joe Manganiello, was lambasted by pro-life protesters who showed up to harass the actress about the embryo custody battle, according to TV Guide.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Vergara and Loeb froze two (female) embryos with her eggs and his sperm when they were together.

Sofia decided she wanted to terminate the frozen eggs after the couple broke up and she moved on, but Loeb is fighting to keep them. Their contract specifies that both parties must agree to move forward with implanting the embryos or decide jointly to terminate.

Loeb says he wants to take custody of the embryos, implant them in a surrogate and raise the two females with or without Vergara’s support. In a New York Times op-ed, Loeb expressed his desire to raise his daughters, noting that he believes life begins at conception.

Needless to say, pro-lifers agree and are on-board with his very public campaign and have harassed Vergara on numerous occasions.

At Thursday’s premiere, pro-lifers showed up holding signs that read, “Unfreeze your daughters! Unfreeze your heart!” and “Lives created should be lives protected!”

Thankfully, Sofia and her fiancé, Joe Manganiello, were safe and sound inside the theater as the protesting raged on outside.

On another note, her Hollywood Walk of Fame star was defaced with a Sharpie-written #EmbryoDefense, according to TMZ.
