Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Reported To Be Staying Together For The Kids’ Sake

Over the past few months, there have been rumors of an inevitable split that is on the way for the star couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. The notable actors, who wed back in 2005 and are the parents to three beautiful children, Violet, 9; Seraphina, 6; and Samuel, 3, have faced their share of difficulties throughout the past 10 years. Now, sources are coming forward and sharing that although the two are fighting for their marriage, they are doing so for the sake of the kids. Design & Trend recounts the words of one of the said sources.

“There is trouble in their relationship, the rumors are out there because they are soaked in truth but the rumors that are not out there is that they want to save the marriage for the kids. Jen sees the man that Ben is, the father that he has become and that outweighs the nonsense. They are not out of the woods yet but they are definitely trying hard to mend fences.”

Although the kids are of utmost importance to the couple, an additional source points out that it is Garner who is struggling to hold on to their crumbling marriage, while Ben has sought counsel from divorce lawyers. The source chatted with Radar Online

“They’re acting like nothing is wrong — and it’s Jennifer’s doing. Ben feels awkward and confused… Jen would stay in their damaged marriage forever if she could. Ben’s a zombie right now. He’s just ready to move on even though Jen’s desperate to keep giving it shot after shot.”

With 43-year-old Garner reportedly fighting and floundering to keep the marriage afloat, and Ben allegedly so eager to call the 10-year marriage quits, the two are reportedly in a difficult situation. Radar Online‘s sources claim that although Ben is setting the pieces in place to file for divorce, he really wishes Jen would be the one to make the move. The award-winning actor certainly doesn’t want to be the one to do it.

Jen and Ben are in love with their family but the situation has become too difficult to ignore, and there have been reports that Ben is rarely at home recently. Affleck has been spotted on numerous occasions drinking late and staying the night at the Hotel Bel-Air. An insider told US Weekly that “He stays there whenever he and Jen are having problems. There’s no need to sugarcoat it. Ben is drinking again.”
