Jada: Divorce Rumors About Will And Jada Pinkett Smith Slammed As She Defends Open Marriage [Video]

Jada Pinkett Smith is battling divorce rumors. The actress said she and Will Smith are frustrated with repeatedly seeing reports that they’re divorcing in the media, reported Fox News.

“You’d think people would be rooting for you to stay together not to break up, you know?” said an angry Jada about the divorce rumors.

However, at 43, Pinkett Smith has learned to accept that the tabloids always are eager to sniff out hot stories about her family.

“It’s actually good news and bad news. The good news is there’s nothing else to talk about. This has been the only story,” admitted Jada. “Let’s round up the divorce story again!”

The rumors are bogus, according to Pinkett Smith.

“Will and I love each other so much, and our family and our relationship is so important,” said the actress.

Married since 1997, Jada tries not to stress about the divorce rumors, theorizing that tabloid journalists make up the stories about her marriage to profit.

“You know what? People gotta make their money and do what they gotta do, you know what I mean? At the end of the day, I realize that too. And if people can go to sleep at night creating those stories then hey, have it.”

In addition, Jada is aware of how easily meaningless situations can be twisted into innuendo.

“And he won’t be with me tonight at the [‘Magic Mike XXL’] premiere so… here we go again!” said Jada, predicting divorce rumors again.

But Pinkett Smith actually fueled some intrigue with her comments about open marriage, reported USA Today.

“You gotta trust who you’re with, and at the end of the day, I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man. I trust that the man that Will is is a man of integrity. HE’s got all the freedom in the world, and as long as Will can look at himself in the mirror and be OK, I’m good.”

As for how she deals with the reality that Will’s profession sometimes requires him to get up close and personal with beautiful women, Jada said she’s aware of her husband’s crushes.

“If your man can’t really see another woman’s beauty how the hell is he going to see yours?” she asked rhetorically.

As the Inquisitr reported, Will revealed that he got motivated to get buff for his film Focus when he learned that Jada had accepted a role in Magic Mike XXL with a boatload of beefcake.

“You got to be a lot of man to handle a lot of woman like that. So I felt really confident when she was going into that set, into that situation. I just had to make sure she had some beefcake at home too,” laughed Will.
