‘Destiny’: Xur’s Exotic Goods For Weekend Of June 26, Peregrine Greaves For Titans
Destiny players get another solid weekend from Xûr, Agent of the Nine. The mysterious vendor has returned to the tower with a new item for Titans, a pair of solid pieces for Warlocks and Hunters, plus one of the better PVP weapons in the game.
Those looking for Xûr should run straight ahead towards the Vanguard hall after spawning in the Tower. He is located to the right of the table that the three Vanguards are standing at, against the wall. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map, just to be sure.
Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, June 28. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
This the first time that the Peregrine Greaves have been available for sale since House of Wolves was released. The Titan boots have a niche use, but Hunters and Warlocks have certainly not been short-changed this week. Both chest armor pieces that are on sale are of value. Meanwhile, the Red Death returns for those that have missed it in previous weeks.
The Exotic Engram on sale this week is for helmets. Use those Motes of Light to roll your luck with that piece you are missing.
Here is what is available for sale and upgrade from Xûr this weekend. Thanks again to DestinyDB for the Exotic information below.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Red Death perk is a crucial weapon in the toughest PVE encounters like Crota’s End simply because of the perk that carries the same name. This perk fully regenerates player health after each kill. The “Unflinching” perk, combined with the overall Pulse Rifle boost in the recent 1.1.1 update, also makes this a top-tier primary weapon for PVP.
Peregrine Greaves is only the second pair of Exotic boots for Titans and are very much a Striker sub-class item. The primary perk is “Peregrine Strike,” which gives Shoulder Charge 3x more damage mid-air. These are a very niche pair of boots in terms of utility but can provide for some fun moments in PVE. Shoulder Charge is already a one-shot kill in PVP, so there’s not much added benefit there.
The 152 Intellect stat roll is excellent for Destiny players. It’s only 7 points off the maximum and will help regenerate that Super ability.
The Crest of Alpha Lupi is for Hunters who roll with Hand Cannons as their primary weapons and also favor their special weapon. It comes with two perks to increase the amount of ammo you can carry for both. It’s also good for team players as the “Keeper of the Pack” perk will allow you to revive fallen teammates faster, be revived faster, and drop additional orbs for your teammates when you use your super ability. This chest piece has added value for Destiny players with the importance of being able to revive quickly in Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders.
The 158 Strength stat roll is an average stat roll at the new 181 max for chest pieces. Strength has gained in importance for Bladedancers in Prison of Elders as being able to go invisible with Blink Strike has turned into a valuable attribute. The faster you can regenerate that, the better.
Heart of the Praxic Fire is to Sunsinger Warlocks what Obsidian Mind is to Voidwalker Warlocks. Its “Praise the Sun” perk decreases all cooldowns while the Radiance Super is active. This turns “Sunbros” into grenade chucking and orb generating machines. It also comes with perks to carry more Fusion Rifle and Heavy Weapon ammo.
The 152 Discipline stat roll for Heart of the Praxic Fire is average. However, this piece is worth purchasing even with an average stat roll. This is especially true since this is the first time that Xûr has sold the armor
