Kate Gosselin Shows Off Bikini Body In Mexico, Revives Plastic Surgery Rumors

Kate Gosselin is showing off her bikini body in Mexico, but the pictures are leading many to believe that the 40-year-old reality star’s figure is too good to be true.

Kate was with her family in Mexico to celebrate her 40th birthday, a celebration complete with cake and relaxing in the sun. The mother of eight also showed off her body in a purple bikini, dredging up some old rumors that Kate has gone under the knife to maintain her youthful looks.

Kate Gosselin has already admitted to a bit of cosmetic surgery, getting a tummy tuck in 2006 that ended up being featured on her reality show. But other plastic surgery experts believe she’s gotten more work done.

“Judging by low brows and less lines between the brows, Botox is very likely,” Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami told Radar Online last year.

“The makeup makes it a bit challenging to say accurately, but a skin tightening light pulse or serial lasers, chemical peels as well as a neck lift are all possibilities to explain the tighter jawline.”

Ghavami added that Kate has likely gotten work done on her cheeks to reduce wrinkling.

“Fillers or fat transfer also are likely making her overall cheeks and face softer as well,” said Dr. Ghavami, who has not treated Gosselin.

Despite the drama, Kate Gosselin said during her Mexico visit that she hasn’t been this happy in a long time.

“It’s been the greatest five years of my life,” Kate said in a clip that aired on Entertainment Weekly.

Her good mood could be due in part to more activity in her dating life. Kate was single for a long time after her split with husband Jon Gosselin, but she recently has been linked to her longtime bodyguard Steve Neild and to millionaire Jeff Prescott.

Kate, who turned heads earlier this year when she appeared on Celebrity Apprentice looking younger than ever, said there’s a more simple explanation to her new look.

“I think when the world met me I was three days post having sextuplets, so the only place you can get from that point is younger,” she told E! News at the Celebrity Apprentice finale.

“So It was really just eye-trickery, I think,” she said. “You guys saw me at my worst first, and then I just kind of reversed in front of your eyes. It was nothing amazing, it was just, when you met me, who was that person?”
