Luke Ridnour: NBA Player Gets Traded To Three Teams In 24 Hours

Luke Ridnour is currently in the midst of the most intense game of NBA hot potato. Luke Ridnour is a 12-year veteran of the NBA having played for five teams in his career. In the last 24 hours, Ridnour has been traded to three different teams.

Yesterday morning, Ridnour was a member of the Orland Magic. The first trade of the day saw him go to the Memphis Grizzlies for the rights to Jannis Timma. Before Ridnour could even start to look for places to live in Memphis, he was then traded by the Grizzlies to the Charlotte Hornets for Matt Barnes. Ridnour was then traded from Charlotte to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Jeremy Lamb. As of now, Ridnour appears to still be with the Thunder. However, there is speculation that he will be cut by the Thunder when Ridnour’s $2.75 million team option kicks in for the 2015-2016 season. This would make Ridnour a free agent, and he would be looking for yet another team to play for.

NBA fans have been having fun on Twitter watching Ridnour’s tour around the league.

For everyone keeping score at home, Luke Ridnour has been a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, twice, the Seattle Supersonics, the Orlando Magic, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Charlotte Bobcats/Charlotte Hornets.

The NBA draft takes place tonight. It is not uncommon for draft picks to be traded for players while the draft is taking place. Will Luke Ridnour wake up tomorrow morning still a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder?
