Rumer Willis’ Foot Injury Forces Her To Stop Dancing While On Tour

Rumer Willis’ foot injury is a big disappointment for the Dancing With the Stars champ, because now the eldest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis is forced to sit out from the Dancing With the Stars Live! Perfect 10 Tour.

As reported by E! Online, Rumer Willis’ foot injury was described as being a stress fracture, and the 26-year-old shared the sad news with her fans via Instagram.

“I have to hang up my dancing shoes for a little bit because of a few stress fractures in my foot but it’s not gonna stop me from singing for you guys on the #DWTSlivetour,” Rumer wrote. The message was posted to the actress and singer’s Instagram account, under a photo of her foot in a boot.

Although Willis has suffered a foot injury that forces her to cease dancing from the show’s summer tour for an unspecified amount of time, she will continue singing. The following statement is what a rep for the tour told E! Online.

“While it remains unclear at this time if Rumer will be able to dance for the remainder of the tour, she is still having fun with her dancing family and will continue to be on the road with the tour. She is hanging up her dancing shoes (for now), but Rumer is still a huge part of the tour and will be singing in various numbers throughout the 90 minute show.”

Since June 13, Rumer Willis has participated in the Dancing With the Stars tour after winning the final. Winner of the twentieth edition of Dancing With the Stars, Rumer Willis had conquered the hearts of the judges and the public over the episodes. Her memorable performances with her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, had enabled her to win the finals by a substantial margin.

The shock of being crowned the champ has been especially hard to take for Rumer, who said that the show was “the most amazing experience of her life,” according to the Daily Mail.

“I think that’s one of the most beautiful things about being able to come and dance live is that you don’t really have the option but to put everything that you have on the floor. I feel like, I hope that I’ve done that justice because I love being here and I hope that shows.”

Admiring his daughter, the famous actor, Bruce Willis, was even moved to tears by her performance in the final.
