At the end of Season 2, Mike flat lined. Mike Warren has been the center of the action and drama on the series for the last two seasons. Would the series really kill him off? Previous Graceland spoilers shared by Inquisitr teased that Mike was indeed alive because his death would rob the show an opportunity to make Paige pay for causing his death. Paige will have some issues of her own to deal with during the Graceland premiere.

A sneak peek does mention that Mike has been murdered, and he is dead. Is there more to this story?

New spoilers reveal that Mike is not dead. Aaron Tveit spoke with TV Insider about Mike’s fate, and he revealed that Mike is indeed sticking around, but the experience will change him.

“We had already started shooting the last episode of Season 2, and the change came down. [Creator] Jeff Eastin called me and pitched me this idea—they wanted a big cliffhanger. And he was selling it so well, I was like, ‘Yeah! Oh, that’s awesome, man. That’s going to be so cool!’ And then I got off the phone and went, ‘Wait a minute, are they killing me off the show?’ [Laughs] But Jeff and I have such a great relationship, I knew it was going to be awesome and that they weren’t getting rid of me for good. [Mike] is a different guy [this season]. You meet Mike right out of the FBI [in Season 1], and he’s got all the smarts in the world, but no experience. Then he gains some experience in the second season and goes on a King Lear power trip. Now he will have to reassess the way he does things.”

Eastin did offer some more teases for the upcoming season of Graceland during a Reddit AMA on Wednesday, and he let slip that Mike is alive too, according to TV Overmind. During the AMA, Eastin revealed that one of the plot points for Season 3 that he is most excited about is an arc that “involves Mike becoming a drug addict.” The news outlet points out that Mike cannot have a drug addiction if he is dead.

However, Eastin also teased to Entertainment Weekly that Mike Warren’s “death” will have an impact on the entire season, and fans will find out the truth behind everything at the end of Season 3.
