Kylie Jenner On Taking ‘500 Selfies’ And Partying With Mom Kris Jenner
Kylie Jenner is infamous for taking hundreds of selfies on Instagram. The 17-year-old reveals that her social media fame is something that she has to take very seriously. Kylie admitted that her pictures don’t always come out as perfect as they look on social media.
The Jenner teen spoke to the MailOnline at the Cannes Lions yacht party on Wednesday, June 24. She explained how many selfies she has to take in order to get the perfect photo. It sounds like she could use her own Instagram photographer. Jenner also revealed that she has very few regrets when it comes to posting her very mature and sexy photos.
“I take, like, 500 selfies to get one I like. Sometimes I regret putting one up if I find a better one later. I’m like damn, that’s a better photo, but that’s the only thing I regret.”
Kylie Jenner also talked about partying with her mom, Kris Jenner. She says that her mom is quite the party animal. Contrary to popular belief, Kylie is the one who has to keep up with her mom, not the other way around.
“I love to hang out with my mum as well. She’s wilder than me. Last night, I went to bed at midnight and she stayed out much later than me doing her thing.”
The Jenner teen also had some sweet things to say about her mom and manager. She credits Kris Jenner, 59, for teaching her for becoming independent. Jenner added that if it weren’t for her mom, she wouldn’t be able to make it on her own.
“She taught us from a young age how to support ourselves and I think it was a great thing to learn. I’m nearly 18 and buying my own home and my mum is doing everything for me. She’s taking over. If I didn’t have her I would literally die.”
Kylie Jenner arrived with Kris Jenner, 59. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars arrived with rapper Tyga, 25 and Corey Gamble, as their dates. During her Cannes Lions interview, Kylie referred to Tyga as her “best friend” rather than her “boyfriend.” Rumors have been swirling that the couple have been dating since September 2014.
“Tyga’s one of my best friends ever so it’s so much fun to travel with him. I always like having my friends on the road with me. He’s doing some stuff out in Cannes, so it’s just fun.”
Kylie made quite the appearance at the MailOnline Yacht event. She wore a white sheer two-piece dress with floral embellishments that revealed her white bra and matching high waisted underwear. Meanwhile, Kris wore a gray sheer long-sleeve gown with a plunging neckline. Tyga matched Kylie with his all-white ensemble, while Corey opted for a black pantsuit.
Kylie even took to Instagram to share a photo of her revealing gown. She captioned the photo: “CANNES.”
Some fans remarked about how Kylie Jenner resembled her older sister, Kim Kardashian. It also looked like she took some style notes from the sheer Roberto Cavalli gown Kim wore to the 2015 Met Gala, as previously noted by E! Online.

It’s also been reported that Kim Kardashian rocked the same look in Cannes. The reality star and pop culture icon wore a black sheer dress that showed her black bra and matching high waisted underwear. Maybe Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are onto a new trend here. The real question is if it will catch on with celebrities who are not related to the Jenner-Kardashian clan.

That’s not the first time that Kylie Jenner has been giving fans and the media major Kim Kardashian vibes. She also resembled her famous sister when she made her first appearance at the Sugar Factory in Miami in a black sheer gown with a plunging neckline. Her super mature look resembled Kim’s black dress at the 2014 NBCU Cable Upfront and her sheer Proenza Schouler dress from the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards.
It’s no secret that the Jenner teen loves Kardashian’s style. She told British InStyle that she looks to Kim and Khloe’s looks as inspiration for her own style.
“I feel like I dress like Khloé on my down days and Kim when I’m going out. If I’m just running out I’ll throw on a cute T-shirt, a pair of leggings and my Timberland boots. If I’m dressing up I love Céline and Saint Laurent, or for accessories Alaïa, Givenchy or Gianvito Rossi.”
