‘GTA V’ Fans Can Now Earn New In-Game Clothing Through A Limited Online Event

For those looking to build the biggest virtual collection of clothes within Grand Theft Auto V‘s online mode, Rockstar Games is giving gamers an opportunity to pick up an exclusive t-shirt in GTA Online for a limited time. While detailing the bonus loot event that is currently live in GTA V, the developer revealed on the Rockstar Newswire that the special edition shirt can now be found inside any crate drop that players discover while playing the open-world game online.

Following the release of the most recent free DLC pack for Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games previously held a special online event weekend that gave users the chance to grab similarly exclusive clothing from GTA Online crate drops. The developer announced that they are making the current limited shirt available within the game to give more players a shot at unlocking new clothing for their GTA V characters.

“If you missed out on collecting the weekend-exclusive quartet of designer tees, not to worry – we’ve got an additional bonus tee available starting today bearing the name of one of Portola Drive’s luxury retailers (pictured above). The Enema 0 t-shirt will be available in all Crate Drops for a limited time only – so jump in your Osiris or Swift Deluxe to race there first.”

In case you weren’t able to participate in the recent Ill-Gotten Gains weekend event, Rockstar Games also released a special video to show off some of the highlights from the recent celebration featuring the Rockstar Broadcast Team as well as a few additional guests such as Rockstar’s own, Lazlow.

Like the previous t-shirts that were made available for a limited time during recent event weekend, the new shirt that fans can now acquire inside GTA Online is based on the new vehicles that were introduced in the game’s newest DLC offering. Rockstar Games hasn’t specifically stated how long players will be able to pick up the limited-time unlock, but a report from VG24/7 claims that the bonus clothing will appear in online crate drops until the second part of Grand Theft Auto V’s Ill-Gotten Gains DLC is released later this summer.

In addition to developing new content for gamers to enjoy while playing Grand Theft Auto V online, Rockstar Games is also committed to making sure that GTA Online users are kept on an even playing ground that isn’t manipulated though the use of cheats, mods, and exploits. The Inquisitr reported last week that the developer is now trying harder than ever to locate and ban any GTA Online user that is found to be cheating.
