Singer Jessie J Hospitalized, Posts Cryptic Song After Secret Operation
Singer Jessie J has worried fans after posting a photo from a hospital bed. An emotional Jessie J gave the thumbs up to fans in a photo after her surgery. This is after she posted a close-up selfie two days ago with the caption, “It’s ok not to be ok.”
Following that concerning Instagram post, Jessie addressed a personal journey she’s going through without revealing any information. In a split screen photo that shows the singer before and after her surgery, Jessie J writes to her fans, “I’m going to be offline for a few days and I wanted to show you why. I don’t often share personal stuff (especially about my health) anymore. I just get on with it secretly, but I wanted to share with you before someone else might and it gets twisted and exaggerated into something different or worse. Just know I am ok as I say in the video on the right.”
She continued, “I had an operation yesterday so need to rest. I won’t be saying what for so PLEASE don’t keep asking me or harassing my close ones on here or anywhere for information. Its personal and I know you can respect that. I just wanted to explain to my fans why I may go AWOL for a minute. Love, prayers and well wishes is all I need.”
In the post she says the operation isn’t in regard to her heart or her voice. She mentioned her heart specifically because Jessie J suffers from a heart condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. Due to her syndrome she had no choice but to cancel her tour. That said, fans are glad to see that the surgery wasn’t heart-related.
At the time, she addressed her fans about the canceled tour by writing, “I’m sorry for all the fans I let down. I f—ing hate that my mind is stronger than my body sometimes. I didn’t want to cancel shows but a doc told me I had to. I cried a lot.”
