‘American Takedown’: A&E New Police TV Show Tackles Drug Smuggling, Human Sex Trafficking, And Identity Theft
American Takedown is a dramatic new cop series that will premiere tonight on the A&E channel, just after the final season of Beyond Scared Straight. If you thought the long-running hit show COPS was entertaining, then you’ll be mesmerized by the jaw-dropping scenes that take place on this exciting new show. A&E is known for their ability to bring compelling human interest stories to the forefront. Produced by Warrior Poets for A&E Network, American Takedown will follow a new team each week as they work hard to solve a crime.
American Takedown offers an alternative to COPS, a live-action show that has been on the air since 1989. This isn’t the first time that A&E has taken a shot at cop/police reality shows.
