Man Wanted In Asian Women Attacks Found Hanging In Elevator Shaft

A man wanted by police in connection with strange attacks on Asian women, was found hanging in a Manhattan, New York elevator shaft.

Police sources said Tyrelle Shaw, 25, was discovered at around 3 p.m. on Monday, the New York Daily News reports. Even though identification found on Shaw confirmed it was the person police were looking for, he has not been identified by family yet.

Workers in the building said that Tyrelle Shaw was seen on surveillance footage and they believed he was living there illegally for about six-months. They got suspicious when they realized there was a strange odor coming out of the elevator shaft.

“The smell was horrific… we came in this morning, I hate to say this, but we said it smelled like someone died,” Karen Bennett, 55 — who works at Academic Approach — a tutoring center in the building said, according to the Daily Mail.

The dead man was wanted in connection with a string of attacks on Asian women that started June 10, police says. The bizarre attacks were violent and unexpected. The “man tried to talk to an Asian woman, stormed off then came back and hit her in the head with a hard object wrapped in a plastic bag.”

Shaw had a blog, which gives investigators an idea of why he attacked the Asian women and possibly committed suicide. His last post, dated June 9 was titled Rejected and he bitterly complains about being rejected by women all his life and rants about how he cannot get one number from them.

In his racially laced rants he describes how he will attack Asian women, who seemed to be the focus of his bitterness. Tyrell Shaw ends saying that his violence will give his victims a good reason to hate him.

“I’m going to talk to a few more Asian Women, before I start my strategic plan of using violence instead of sex and peace in order to continue living my horrible life.” the man wrote.

The man wanted in connection with the attacks on Asian women also bragged about his celebrity contacts. His blog contains several selfies he took with Hollywood A-listers such as Ben Stiller, Russell Crowe, Tracy Morgan, the late Paul Walker, and judge Judy Sheindlin.

It is unclear whether the man wanted for the attacks on Asian women killed himself or there was foul play involved, however, the posts on his blog explains why he “decided to leave Earth.”
