Kendra Wilkinson Defends Hugh Hefner Against Holly Madison In Playboy Bunny Battle: Hef Abusive Or Awesome? [Photos]

Kendra Wilkinson is defending Hugh Hefner after Holly Madison attacked Playboy king Hugh Hefner in a new tell-all. Despite Holly’s accusations that life in the Playboy Mansion was horrible, Kendra argues that everything was fabulous. As for Madison’s views? Wilkinson contends that she’s just trying to get revenge, reported MSN.

While Holly argued that Playboy bunnies were encouraged to engage in backstabbing, Kendra paints a picture of happy times. Wilkinson retorted to her erstwhile bunny buddy’s claims by staying that they were not based on reality.

“Hef has dated thousands of women. Most of them still love him and they come back and love Hef and thank him for what he’s done for them. I am so appreciative of everything he has done for me,” said Kendra.

Wilkinson said that she even credits Hefner for her children and marriage.

“I’m in a really good place because of the mansion and I’ve moved on,” said Kendra.

But as Hefner also fires back, the former Playboy bunny’s allegations are sending shock waves through those who thought that the Playboy Mansion was a place dedicated to having frivolous fun, reported Entertainment Tonight.

In her memoir Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, Holly claims that she experienced emotional abuse that caused her to feel suicidal. Now 35, Madison charges that the 89-year-old Playboy creator even proffered drugs that were “thigh-opening.”

Not true, says Hefner.

“[Holly has] decided to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight,” claimed Hugh.

However, Madison said she wrote the tell-all because she wanted to send a message to other women who might feel trapped in a bad relationship.

“I wanted to share my story to inspire other women who might be in a bad relationship to get out, or not be branded by bad decisions they’ve made, and take charge of their lives and move on… I’m definitely not rewriting history. I’m finally telling the truth of my experience. For so many years I tried so hard to be a good girlfriend, and I cared about him and always had his back.”

What about the charge that Holly is in debt to Hugh for helping her soar to fame and fortune? Madison says she worked hard for the money as a cheerleader for the Playboy brand.

“We did a lot to push the brand, and cheerlead for the brand, and I think there’s a whole generation of young women who wouldn’t know what Playboy was if it wasn’t for [the E! reality show] Girls Next Door,” said Holly of the reality TV show in which she co-starred.

In addition, Madison charges that Hefner pitted the girls against each other and encouraged back-stabbing, reported Fox News.

“Definitely we were manipulated to not get along. He would always tell us that he wanted us to all get along but looking back I see there were a lot of instances of him going back and forth and creating a lot of drama that made him feel desired and fought over. He certainly didn’t want seven girls banding together and taking charge of the relationship.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Kendra Wilkinson has feuded with Holly.

Although they dated Hefner at the same time, co-starred in Girls Next Door for four years, and even resided in the Playboy Mansion at the same time, they now say that they were never true friends.

And Kendra is firing back at Holly, reported Too Fab. Madison is trying to get revenge, claims Kendra.

Wilkinson feels Holly wanted money.

“Holly, you can tell she had this ulterior motive every minute being at the mansion. That motive was, it was clear as day, she wanted Hef’s kids, she wanted a piece of Playboy and she wanted to marry Hef for, obviously his will. That didn’t happen, so what do you think’s gonna happen? Revenge. We’re witnessing some revenge here,” charged Wilkinson.
