Meghan King Edmonds: Shannon and David’s Uncomfortable Fight ‘Made Me Squirm’

Meghan King Edmonds may be brand new to The Real Housewives of Orange County, but she is learning that everything is fair game in the reality television world. King Edmonds is a newlywed, who got married back in the fall of last year to Jimmy Edmonds, a former baseball player. While Meghan may not be dealing with marital problems these days, she surely doesn’t like to watch Shannon Beador’s problems unfold on television.

While Meghan King Edmonds may not know Shannon on a personal level, she did watch the first episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County this season, where Beador admitted that her husband had cheated on her. They were making strides in fixing their marriage, but he decided to step out on her and have an affair.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that she found it very uncomfortable to watch her co-stars bicker and fight in the golf cart, as everyone else were trying to have fun.

“When I watched the scene of Shannon and David in the golf cart it made me squirm. It was so uncomfortable to hear David try to hug her and Shannon quip at him about not gritting his teeth when he did it. I’m no saint, believe me, I rub salt in the wound on occasion when my husband tries to bury the hatchet and vice versa. However, it was still difficult to hear,” Meghan King Edmonds reveals.

However, it sounds like King Edmonds is trying to be very supportive of her co-star. It isn’t everyone who would stay in the marriage and fight for it.

“Having said that, I admire Shannon and David for working to save their marriage. I don’t want to know what it’s like to have to be in their shoes and even as I type this I am wondering if I am judging their relationship with my above thoughts. But I think Shannon sums it up well when she said she sometimes can’t control her negative thoughts and she apologized to David at the end of the night,” Meghan King Edmonds adds.

According to the Inquisitr, Meghan feels that she has found her perfect match in Jimmy. Over Father’s Day, she shared a touching message written to him, where she explains that she had found her perfect parenting partner. Maybe when King Edmonds has been married a bit longer, she will see — and possibly experience — the kinds of struggles the Beadors have been going through.
