Richard Gere, 65, and Alejandra Silva, 32, were spotted together on a yacht in Italy on Monday, and Mail Online posted some pictures of the two getting cozy while cruising. The couple has been dating for about a year now, but have been keeping their relationship rather private. In fact, the two only went public recently, at the Taormina’s annual Film Festival just last week. After the event, the couple was able to spend some alone time together (with the paparazzi nearby, of course) off the coast of Acitrezza.

“Gere wore a pair of blue shorts and didn’t seem overjoyed at the prospect of diving in to the water. However, clearly the prospect of frolicking with Silva was enough to get him in the water and he soon appeared to be enjoying himself,” reports Mail Online. Alejandra showed off her rockin’ bod in a purple two-piece.
Richard Gere is 65, and some say that Alejandra Silva is too young for him. However, age is but a number. The handsome actor (who was previously married to Cindy Crawford) has dated quite a few young, gorgeous women in his day. Although he has dated all over Hollywood, Gere seems to enjoy being with Alejandra, a Spanish socialite. The mother-of-one also seems to enjoy Gere’s company, which makes them a great match.

And while Richard Gere, 65, and Alejandra Silva have some fun in the Italian sun, life continues to go on back here in the States. According to the Canada Journal, Gere is currently finalizing his divorce from ex Carey Lowell, 54 (the former couple has a son together).
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the split could cost Gere some seriously big bucks. There have been reports that Gere could end up settling for around $100 million, though specific details are unknown.
“Throughout their careers, Gere and Lowell amassed a fortune, which is estimated to be well over $100 million. Unfortunately, the money has become a strong point of contention. The specific details of Richard Gere’s divorce are largely unknown. However, sources said the estranged couple reached an agreement about the custody of their son. However, they are far from an agreement over the money.”
Evidently, Gere isn’t too worried.
