The first match of the knockout stage promises to be intense as the host, Chile, faces one of the strongest teams in the Continent, Uruguay. Chile won its last match against Bolivia convincingly (5-0) to consolidate their standings in Group A, but now they have to prove to their fans they can move on at home.

Chile won Group A with ease, scoring 10-goals in all, more than any other team in the competition, and according to midfielder Marcelo Díaz, his team can continue that trend in the quarterfinals against powerhouse, Uruguay.
