Caitlyn Jenner Father’s Day Celebration Has Special Messages, Surprises, And Family Drama
Caitlyn Jenner spent Father’s Day with her family on Sunday, according to Us Magazine. Caitlyn shared a photo of a family outing on her Twitter account on Monday. She went off-road driving with five of her children, and they are all smiling in the photo.
Caitlyn Jenner announced her arrival to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair this month. Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner to the world, made the decision to transition into a woman after many years. Caitlyn had known she was not “Bruce” since she was a child, but she did not know how to free the woman inside her.
She has now done that, and she could not be happier, it seems.
On Sunday, Caitlyn went out with her children from her first two marriages, and a mix of the Jenner and Kardashian clans. Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and their daughter North West joined Kendall and Khloe Kardashian.

Five of Caitlyn’s children were absent from the Father’s Day celebrations. Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian did not attend the festivities on Sunday. A report from Radar Online revealed that Caitlyn was hurt because the three did not attend the outing with the rest of the family.
The news outlet reported that Rob did text with the family throughout the day, and Kylie did post a message to her father on Instagram. Kylie’s Instagram was an old photo of Bruce and Kris with the girls when they were just toddlers. She captioned it with a quote of something Bruce once said to her, “Happy Father’s Day my little light of sunshine. You can still call me dad, Kylie. No matter what I’m always going to be your father. That’s never going to change.”
Kylie spent the day with Tyga and his son on Sunday. A source told Radar Online that, “[Caitlyn] understands why Kylie was not there,” says the source. “Caitlyn does not like Tyga and does not approve of this relationship. Caitlyn did appreciate Kylie’s sweet post and hopes that time will heal all wounds.”
Kendall shared a more personal message on her Instagram on Sunday. She captioned a photo of Bruce and her as a toddler by saying, “My whole life this soul was my daddy and just because your appearance is different now doesn’t mean you were any less of a father to me my entire life. Happy Father’s Day to the person who raised me, and taught me everything I know, my hero.”
As for Kourtney Kardashian, she had her own reasons for not attending the Father’s Day outing on Sunday. Radar Online reported that Kourtney decided to spend the day with Scott Disick and their children because she is not ready to introduce Mason to Caitlyn because it might confuse the little boy. He has always known Caitlyn as Grandpa Bruce, and that has now changed.
A source spoke about the rift this has caused in the family.
“Kourtney and Scott would confuse Mason if they introduced their kids to ‘Grandpop Bruce’ on Father’s Day. They spent the day with their own family and will face this issue when they are ready. Caitlyn is devastated by them all not being there, but accepts their reasoning, and they know that she will be there when they are ready to accept the transition.”
Khloe shared her own special message on Sunday. Her message honored both Bruce Jenner and Robert Kardashian. She said that, “Thank you Lord for blessing me with not one phenomenal father but I was lucky enough to have two.”
The Father’s Day outing did not end with the off road experience. The family did share a meal together as well, and Hollywood Life reported that Kanye West gave Caitlyn a very special gift of his own. He serenaded her with a special song, according to a source. He performed “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder.
“Out of nowhere, Kanye asked Caitlyn and the others who were there to have a seat because he wanted to say something. He said, ‘This is for you, Caitlyn.’ The whole point was for Kanye to convey to Cailtyn that she’s lovely and that everyone in that room, including himself, loves her. Caitlyn’s mouth dropped and she was in tears. She thought it was beautiful and epic.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have both been supportive of Bruce Jenner’s transition into Caitlyn. During the Diane Sawyer interview in April, Bruce revealed that it was Kanye that helped Kim accept her father’s transition better. She has been supportive ever since.
A previous Inquisitr report revealed that Kim’s support might have caused a rift to form between Kris Jenner and Kim.
“She’s feeling hurt by Kim because Kim is so onboard helping Caitlyn. Kim was even there for the whole Vanity Fair shoot and approved the team doing the new look.”
On Sunday, Kim confirmed to the world that she is pregnant with a boy by sharing the detail in her own Father’s Day message to Kanye.
