Johnny Depp may be one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but he’s also known for picking up a guitar from time to time. Last year Johnny hopped on stage for a show with Alice Cooper and last night he joined Marilyn Manson for a rendition of “Sweet Dreams.”
After the song, Manson said:
“If you don’t recognize my personal friend … my personal savior, my personal guitar hero … Johnny Depp!”
According to People Magazine, the actor stayed on stage for at least one more song. Depp and Manson also played “The Beautiful People” together.
The New York Daily News reports that the performance at Revolver magazine’s Golden Gods Awards concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles wasn’t just about friendship.
Depp will also be joining Manson on a new album. The NY Daily News reports that Depp will be playing drums on Manson’s new album, “Born Villain.” Depp will reportedly be featured on Manson’s cover of the Carly Simon song “You’re So Vain.”
