Reality TV Lineup June 21-26: ‘Big Brother 17’, ‘Bachelorette’ Shocker, ‘Kate Plus 8’ Special, And More
Set your DVR for a week full of reality TV drama with a great lineup that will make you wish you could win the lottery and binge watch your favorite show. Highlights for June 21 – 26 include a 3-hour Kate Plus 8 special on TLC, the premiere of Big Brother 17 on CBS, and a shocking first for the Bachelorette on ABC. In addition to premieres and mid-season reality TV drama, Bravo’s Andy Cohen will host several reality stars in the WWHL clubhouse this week, including RHOC‘s Heather Dubrow and RHONY star Sonja Morgan.
Sunday night’s best bet is the always entertaining Botched at 9 p.m. on E! On Episode 9, Justin Jedlica will return to assist Dr. Dubrow pump up a body builder who is lacking in the pec department. Your DVR will come in handy on Monday, with both a three-hour Kate Plus 8 special (Kate Plus 8: Kate’s Memorable 30’s) and the Bachelorette airing at 8 p.m. ET.
ABC promises big-time drama when Kaitlyn has sex before hometown dates, so fans of both shows may want to hit “record” for Kate Gosselin’s show and grab the wine and cheese to watch Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe have an epic meltdown on ABC.
If you are a Big Brother fan, the 17th season premiere will air on Wednesday and Thursday on CBS, and will feature its first transgender houseguest. According to the Dayton Daily News, casting Audrey Middleton, a 25-year-old digital media consultant from Georgia, was perfect timing considering the conversation that surrounds Bruce Jenner’s recent transition to a woman, Caitlyn who will star in her own reality series, I Am Cait in July.
