Mariah Carey and James Packer appear to be a hot new item. Several months after her split from Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey has been spotted out with another man — billionaire James Packer. According to Mail Online, Mariah and James are on vacation together — with their kids — and seem to be having a wonderful time enjoying each other’s company.

“The couple were pictured on board a speedboat on Saturday as they relaxed together in the sun off the coast of Capri… On Friday, the couple confirmed their romance and were spotted ambling along the area’s beautiful cobbled roads, amid reports they are on an ‘extended holiday.’ They visited upmarket restaurant Aurora, where witnesses said they seemed at ease in each other’s company.”

Mariah Carey and James Packer were “affectionate” with one another, signifying that they are, indeed, more than just friends. According to People Magazine, the two were seen holding hands while enjoying the atmosphere on the small Italian island. Some believe that the couple has a lot in common, and that they have been bonding over the past couple of weeks.

Packer, 47, has three children with his ex-wife, Erica Baxter. The two got divorced back in 2013. Mariah has two children (twins Moroccan and Monroe, 4) with ex, Nick Cannon. Although it is unknown how close Packer is to his ex-wife, Mariah and Nick have chosen to put their differences aside for the sake of their twins. They have often been spotted together with their kids, even though they are no longer married.

Mariah Carey and James Packer have reportedly been seeing each other for a few months, but recently decided to take their romance public. So, who is James Packer? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Packer is an Australian media mogul. He was previously involved with the Church of Scientology, and friends with actor Tom Cruise. He is worth an estimated $4 billion.
