John Legend Share His Love For Food, Wine, And Travel
John Legend is a world-renowned singer, songwriter, and performer who spends much of his time on the road, and with this time, he has developed a real appreciation for particular places, hotels, and restaurants. Along with his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, he will be hosting a trip called “The Legend Experience” via private jet to five carefully selected locations across the world, and for $120,000, you can join him.
John Legend is known as a renaissance man with many interests beyond music. He is a graduate of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania who is known as an avid reader and a civil rights advocate, speaking out on the rights of all people around the world. He caught some heat recently after playing two songs at a private wedding at the Hotel Bel-Air, due to the hotel’s ownership by the Sultan of Brunei (a man with brutal thoughts of punishment, particularly of women, including stoning for minor issues). Legend’s management said that they do not comment on performances at private functions. Legend says firmly that he would not do anything that would put an extra dime in the Sultan of Brunei’s pocket, including staying at the hotel.
But there are other hotels that Legend and Teigen will be visiting on their personal tour. He will lead up to 50 guests to hand-picked locations from Napa Valley to Italy’s Lake Como, stopping along the way to introduce his guests to friends around the globe. John Legend has partnered with Four Seasons and TCS World Travel to make this a luxury experience that will never be forgotten.
Legend’s guests will fly on a private jet, taste rare wines, and have unique experiences like VIP tours of Milan’s Armani Museum and the Paris school where Van Clef & Arpels trains its watchmakers. Legend and Teigen will also host his guests on a Ferretti yacht cruising around Lake Como.
Legend is excited to introduce his guests on “The Legend Experience” to friends like chef Marcus Samuelson, who will prepare an intimate lunch in New York, and private wine tastings in Paris at the Four Seasons George V, where they will be lead on a private tour of the legendary wine cellar, which will commence with a tasting.
In London, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen will introduce the tour to designer Sir Norman Foster, who will give guests a tour of his private studio and provide his input on sustainable architecture.
