Lisa Vanderpump Sets The Record Straight: ‘RHOBH’ Star Denies Having A Hand In Brandi Glanville’s Firing

Lisa Vanderpump is setting the record straight on what role she played in Brandi Glanville’s firing. The reality TV star insists she has no power over cast changes.

After news of Brandi’s being let go from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hit the web on Thursday, rumors started swirling that Lisa Vanderpump had a hand in getting her co-star axed from the show. According to a June 19 In Touch report, one of the main reasons Bravo producers fired Brandi is because Lisa wanted her gone.

“She’s been let go. Bravo already has a replacement, but they aren’t announcing it yet. Lisa wanted Brandi gone, and Bravo wants to keep her happy because of [her other show] Vanderpump Rules.”

Lisa Vanderpump, however, denies she had anything to do with Brandi Glanville’s firing. In fact, the reality star implies that, if she had that much power over cast changes, fans would have seen a very different cast makeup for Season 5.

Having a hand in her co-star being fired is not the only rumor Lisa is putting to rest. Radar Online reported earlier this week that Lisa is thinking of leaving the show before Season 6 starts filming this summer due to being so busy with her other business ventures and philanthropies.

“I have a lot of things going on right now, but I have always been a business woman. I am also right in the middle of filming Vanderpump Rules which takes up quite a lot of my time at Sur. It is all positive and it also gives me a platform to support the causes that I am passionate about. GLAAD being one of them.”

However, the RHOBH star has assured fans nothing is set in stone for herself or co-star Kyle Richards, who it is also rumored is not returning for the sixth season.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Brandi Glanville has technically not been fired from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, although she has been demoted. Brandi has been offered a chance at redemption, however, by the network. If she accepts Bravo’s offer, she will allegedly make guest appearances throughout Season 6 to show that she can “play nice” with the rest of the cast. According to TMZ, if Glanville can behave appropriately, she could return as a full-time cast member.

Bravo has yet to officially announce any cast changes for the upcoming season, including Lisa Vanderpump’s return or departure.
