Jessa Duggar And Jill Duggar Head To Music Festival After Josh And Anna Cancel Appearances

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard might still manage to make a little money doing paid public appearances even though the Josh Duggar molestation scandal has tainted their family’s good name.

According to E! News, Jessa Duggar recently revealed that she and husband Ben Seewald are headed to Ohio for the ALIVE Christian Music Festival this weekend. The couple will be joined by Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard, as well as the Dillards’ two-month old son, Israel.

“Awesome travel buddies,” Jessa captioned two Instagram photos that were taken at the airport. One of them shows Jill Duggar doing a much better job rocking her baby sling.

The Seewalds and Dillards are listed as speakers at the ALIVE Christian Music Festival, and they’re set to preach to the crowd this Saturday. Josh and Anna Duggar were also listed on a flyer for the festival, but E! News revealed that the embattled couple will not be appearing onstage with their 19 Kids and Counting co-stars. During an interview with Fox News host Megyn Kelly, Jill and Jessa Duggar confirmed that they were two of Josh’s five molestation victims. Because of this shocking revelation, Josh’s presence at the festival would have created a very uncomfortable situation.

However, the ALIVE organizers didn’t ban Josh Duggar from the event — a rep for the festival told RadarOnline that it was Josh and Anna Duggar’s decision not to come. As a lobbyist working for the Family Research Council (FRC) in Washington, D.C., Josh made a living traveling around the country and talking about his faith. But after it was revealed that he had molested four of his sisters and one other girl, he resigned from his position with the FRC. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Josh has moved back to Arkansas to be closer to the rest of his family. This likely means that Jill and Jessa Duggar will be seeing a lot more of their abuser.

Jill and Jessa told Megyn Kelly that they’ve forgiven their brother for what he did to them, and they want to move on with their lives. However, they could be in for a big change that might make it difficult to move on — there’s a possibility that 19 Kids and Counting will be canceled by TLC. The network’s ratings actually went up after it removed reruns of the reality show from its schedule, and this is definitely bad news for the Duggars.

Luckily for Jill and Jessa Duggar, it looks like they’ll be able to satisfy their love of being in the spotlight by speaking at more events like the ALIVE festival. However, Josh might not be so lucky.
