Jennifer Lopez: Marc Anthony Files For Divorce

Marc Anthony has officially ended his relationship with Jennifer Lopez as he filed his divorce petition Monday in Los Angeles, California. The superstar couple announced months ago that their relationship had come to an end so the divorce filing should come as no real surprise.

Jennifer Lopez has been married twice prior to her marriage to Anthony. While the couple have maintained a business relationship even after the announcement of their separation, Marc has cited irreconcilable differences between him and Jennifer, according to a report published by the Associated Press. He provided no additional details or insight into why he decided to finalize his split by filing divorce papers.

J Lo and Anthony recently appeared on the Q’Viva! reality television series and promoted the show together. The former celebrity powerhouse couple has two twin children together which Anthony is seeking joint custody over.

While Anthony has manifested himself as a producer and actor, appearing in El Cantante with Lopez, the mother of his twins has managed to jolt her career back to life through her work as a judge on the hit television series American Idol.

Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez and her new man Casper Smart have been the subject of numerous news reports in recent times. With all of the headlines the two are capturing, perhaps it should come as little surprise to find her former husband suddenly filing for divorce and custody of their twin children.

TMZ reported on Wednesday that J. Lo had brought Casper and her two children to a Los Angeles public beach which she had rented from the city at of Long Beach for a hefty $925 for a 3,400 feet of shoreline.
