‘Empire’s’ Taraji P. Henson Hospitalized: Takes A Photo From The Hospital
Taraji P. Henson is taking a seat. The actress who broke out in a big way for her starring role in Fox’s Empire was hospitalized recently.
The Empire star took a snap of an IV in her arm and decided to caption the photo with, “God has a way of saying, ‘You’re doing too much! SAT DOWN SOMEWHERE.’ I’m listening Father!!! I am taking several seats!!!”
She continued, “Don’t worry y’all I’m a tough cookie! HA! I will be just fine. My momma and best friends are flying in to check on me. I AM FINE!!!!!!! Just need to SAT ALL THE WAY DOWN for a bit. #listentoyourbody.”
Why was Taraji P. Henson hospitalized? Well, although she was tight-lipped about the reason behind her hospitalization, it’s said that Taraji had a serious bout of food poisoning.
According to Hollywood Life, the Empire star was rushed to the hospital. It’s said that Henson got food poisoning from something she ate on a flight from Europe.

Taraji P. Henson has been extremely busy. The actress has been promoting Empire non-stop since it took off in January. It was such a hit that their audience kept growing as the weeks passed. For example, the season finale took in 14.9 million viewers while its season premiere debuted with a strong 9.9 million viewers.
Although it’s an ensemble show, Taraji has been the star who has run off with the hit.
In the pilot episode, the Huffington Post notes, “Cookie entered the frame – Lucas’s ex-wife straight through the prison gates after 17 years, sentence served, lipstick intact – and we were plunged into ‘Dynasty’ territory, firmly in the footsteps of Alexis Colby’s disruptive, unexpected entrance, but with Taraji P. It looks like Taraji P. Henson should get all the rest she can now because she’s going to have a busy awards season with the Emmys and Golden Globes.
