Casper Smart Talks About Reigniting A Romance With Jennifer Lopez

Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez have been on and off for a couple of years, but their last reunion looks to be pretty solid. In fact, Lopez’s beau Casper spoke to People Magazine about their relationship. He didn’t give too many details, but what he had to say was sweet.

Of his reunion with Jennifer Lopez, he said, “We’re just having a good time, just being ourselves, that’s all.”

Although he wasn’t giving too many details about their relationship, Casper did have great things to say about the American Idol judge’s work ethic.

“She’s one of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen or met in my life. She crushes everything that you give to her, and she knows what she wants. She’s just great.”

As for Jennifer Lopez, she dodged Ellen DeGeneres’ questions on whether or not she and Casper are back together. DeGeneres brought up the fact that Lopez told her she was single the last time she went on the daytime talk show.

Lopez backtracked about her relationship status at the time, saying, “No, I didn’t. I don’t even want to get into it with you.”

She continued, “First of all, I don’t lie. I say what my truth is. Whatever anybody else wants to perceive about me hanging out with people or other people or different people, it doesn’t matter. I know the truth.”

When the host joked with her if she was single or not, Lopez said, “I’m kind of not, but I kind of am.”

As to why Jennifer and Casper are close once again, a source told Hollywood Life that they “just get each other.” Not only that, but Casper seems to be really comfortable among her family, especially with her children, Max and Emme, both 7.

“They have a wonderful working relationship and a wonderful real relationship! Plus, her kids love him.”

The source continued, “Jen and Casper spend all their free time with each other. He is always at Idol with her. They work together as well, so time together is plentiful. They like being with each other and find a lot of time to hang out with each other.”

When she and Casper originally split, Lopez didn’t give up on love.

In fact, she told People magazine, “I still believe in the fairy tale. The more I work on myself, the more I give myself the opportunity to share a really deep and meaningful relationship that can give me my fairy tale and last forever.”

That said, it sounds like she did have some alone time.

“I had to make a commitment to myself to be alone: no flirting. No possibility of anything. No boys in any way, shape or form. I said, ‘I’m shutting it down.’ I’d never been alone. I always found comfort in another person.”

Prior to her relationship with Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez was married to Marc Anthony from 2004 until 2011 when the couple both announced their separation. The two have found a way to successfully co-parent their twins together.
