Alec Baldwin Tweets His Departure From NBC

Television star Alec Baldwin might be leaving NBC after realizing that reporters from NBC’s Today, also known as the The Today Show, were outside of his apartment alongside the rest of “the other stalkers” in an attempt to ambush the actor and his new fiancée outside of his Manhattan apartment building. Baldwin tweeted from his Twitter account:

“I think I’m leaving NBC just in time. Outside my apt today, alongside the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew that identified themselves as being with the Today Show. No one from NBC contacted me until the today show arrived at my apt. I haven’t appeared on the Today Show in many years. But did they have camp outside my apt.?”

Baldwin recently made headlines after 28-year-old Hilaria Thomas, a Latina yoga instructor, accepted his marriage proposal and the two became engaged. Since his engagement became widely publicized, TV’s funnyman has conveyed his displeasure with various news networks for “invading the privacy” of others.

Thomas backed up her future husband on Twitter as she tweeted from her account:

“Life stops when u let crazy people dictate ur activities.”

Alec Baldwin was recently dealing with a real stalker problem as Genevieve Sabourin, a woman with whom he had dined back in 2010, has been stalking him and sending him outrageous e-mails such as the following:

“I NEED TO START MY NEW LIFE, WITH MY NEW NAME, WITH MY NEW CARRIER IN MY NEW COUNTRY HELP MY NEWLY HUSBAND, YOU!”

Between his recent engagement to Thomas, stalker Sabourin, and constant attention from the media, perhaps it should as no surprise to find the 30 Rock star, Alec Baldwin, firing back at whoever happens to stumble into his crosshairs.
