Michael Weatherly Welcomes Daughter

NCIS actor Michael Weatherly has finally welcomed the new arrival of his daughter Olivia. Weatherly, and wife Siberian basketball player, Bojana Jankovic, 28, made the announcement via twitter.

“Gentlefolk of Twitter and elsewhere, Bojana and I are proud to announce the arrival yesterday of Olivia Weatherly! #SpecialAgentWeatherly,” the 43 year-old actor wrote to his twitter followers earlier today.

Back in January Michael Weatherly told Life & Style that he was expecting with wife Bojana, and expressed how excited he was to be a new dad again. “We are very excited about welcoming a new member of the family, a daughter!” He continued, jokingly telling the magazine, “I am looking forward to not getting much sleep.”

Michael Weatherly and Bojana Jankovic were wed in September of 2009 after dating long distance for two years. Weatherly has said about the love he has for their relationship, “There seems to be complete joy in everything that happens.”

As far as going through the pains of pregnancy, Weatherly isn’t without jokes, telling People Magazine, “Here’s the thing, when I went to a prenatal class, it was like going to a drive-in horror movie.”

Baby Olivia joins her older half brother, 16 year-old August, which is Michael’s son from a previous marriage with actress Amelia Heinle.

Weatherly was previously engaged to Dark Angel costar Jessica Alba, but that relationship ended after three years, as did their show. In 2007 Alba told People Magazine, “I don’t know [why I got engaged]. I was a virgin. He was 12 years older than me. I thought he knew better.”

Looks like Michael Weatherly has finally found the best of both worlds.
