MTV Reality Star Leah Messer May Be Facing A Custody Battle With Jeremy Calvert, Her New Boyfriend’s Ex Claims

MTV reality star Leah Messer just divorced her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, last week, and already, reports have surfaced regarding an impending custody battle. On June 17, Mandy Winnell, who has two sons with the MTV reality star’s new boyfriend, Theodore “TR” Dues, told In Touch Weekly Calvert could be considering a fight for custody of his and Messer’s 2-year-old daughter, Adalynn Faith.

“He said she’s a bad mom. If my kids are with her, they won’t be taken care of very well.”

The MTV reality star is already dealing with a custody battle regarding her two oldest daughters, 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah. In 2011, Messer split from first husband Corey Simms, and last year, he filed court documents to gain custody of their twins.

Continuing on, Winnell said she hoped the MTV reality star would be civil with her in the future.

“I hope Leah doesn’t start drama. I’m not known to be very nice, so we need to stay on each other’s good side!”

Messer has been speaking about Dues for the last several weeks on Twitter, but so far, hasn’t confirmed whether or not they are a new couple. Still, as the Inquisitr previously reported, rumors have continued to swirl, claiming the MTV reality star and her reported new boyfriend were living together at her mother’s home in West Virginia prior to her entry into rehab late last month.

Below is what a source revealed to Radar Online earlier this month in regard to the MTV reality star’s new boyfriend.

“T.R. moved in with Leah and her parents after just a week of dating!”

After discovering the news of his MTV reality star ex-wife’s new man, Calvert reportedly became upset. After all, Messer wasn’t just dating Dues, she had reportedly been living with him, which meant their daughter, Adalynn, was spending time with Dues, as well.

“When mutual friends told Jeremy about this new guy, he called Leah and flipped out for letting a stranger hang around Addie. Leah initially denied the relationship, saying that they’re not official, but then confessed that something’s going on. Jeremy was the girls’ stepdad for most of their lives, so obviously [Simms] was upset about that, too.”

Although it is unclear when Messer began dating Dues, Radar Online claimed they have been together for “some time.”
