Lana Del Rey Fans Love All Six ‘Honeymoon’ Teasers
Lana Del Rey promised fans that she would release a new album following her Endless Summer Tour. Now that her tour has ended, Lana Del Rey is showing fans that she is coming through on her promise to release her fourth album (or third major label album), Honeymoon.
Altogether, Lana Del Rey released six Honeymoon-related teasers on June 16 in less than 24 hours.
The main teaser that the media is buzzing about is Lana Del Rey’s release of her singing a snippet of a song that will be part of Honeymoon sometime in the fall. Consequence of Sound wrote on May 23, “During a show in Washington State this week, Lana Del Rey revealed the album will arrive in September.”
Around the time of the Honeymoon preview video release, Lana Del Rey posted on social media show that she had fun on tour. For instance, she got great reviews from the Governor’s Ball and was wearing a tiara on stage in Atlanta, Georgia. Lana Del Rey even took time to hang out with her father backstage at her Atlanta show for his birthday.
When Lana Del Rey posted the Honeymoon video, she also included an Instagram post with lyrics to the song — as well as the video where she sings a few lines. After being posted for less than 12 hours, the lyrics page had 211,000 likes on Instagram and many positive comments from fans.

In addition to the snippet of Honeymoon on Instagram posted by Lana Del Rey, the unofficial fan club, Lana Del Rey Crew, posted their own video preview. What is different about the Lana Del Rey Crew video is that Lana Del Rey is singing live on stage.
What does the media think about Lana Del Rey’s song? Radio reviews the Honeymoon snippet and reports the following.
“In terms of themes, we find Lana Del Rey mining familiar territory, shouting out famous Los Angeles boulevards Wilshire and Pico, and opening with the self-depreciating declaration that ‘it’s not fashionable to love me.'”
Billboard Magazine posted about Lana Del Rey’s teaser video on Instagram for Honeymoon, but they let the fans do the reviewing. Billboard fan reviews of Lana Del Rey’s teaser include, “I love that elegant Hollywood vibe to it” and “This sounds gorgeous!”
Of course, Lana Del Rey’s loyal fans were quick to say how much they loved the teaser. On Twitter, fans of Lana Del Rey respond to posts about her Honeymoon preview saying, “did that give anyone else chills?” and “I’m crying.”
Fans on Buzzfeed that are excited about Lana Del Rey’s Honeymoon teaser have been quick to point out that “The album can’t come soon enough!”
Finally, Lana Del Rey clearly posted on her Instagram that there are more Honeymoon teasers in a separate Instagram account exclusively for the album. The last Honeymoon teaser Lana Del Rey posted about on June 16 includes some background to the new album.
