Hailey Baldwin Is Not Here For Twitter Troll Attacks Over Justin Bieber Friendship

Hailey Baldwin is not here to be trolled by some of Justin Bieber’s non-boundary observing fans.

To wit, the 18-year-old model took to Twitter on Monday night to call out a Bieber fan who sent the Topshop star a rude, presumptuous tweet, after paparazzi pics surfaced of Hailey having fun with the singer in Miami on Sunday, June 14.

Although Hailey was only seen jet skiing and chatting with the Biebs, giving him a peck on the cheek, and relaxing with their mutual friends, one Belieber was enraged enough by the mild PDA in the pics (and probably the two shots of the pair that the singer Instagrammed) to attack the pretty blonde on Twitter.

The said Belieber tweeted Baldwin, writing, “he’s always f*****g other girls but if you want to have no self respect do you boo @haileybaldwin.”

Oh no, she didn’t! Oh yes, she did! And Hailey wasn’t having it.

Responding, Baldwin blasted the troll, stating, “I have nothing but respect for myself what I chose to do in my personal life is my business!”

The fiery exchange led to #Hailey becoming a trending topic on Twitter on Monday night. However, now that the dust has settled, the tweets have since been deleted.

E! News reports that other tweets and online comments indicate a proportion of Beliebers are also anti-Hailey.

Hailey and Justin were in Miami to attend the youth-oriented Vous Church Conference led by pal Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. from the Trinity Church.

It appears many Bieber fans are unaware that some gossip websites sensationalize and fabricate content, and now believe that any female that the Biebs is seen with is his lover.

Some Beliebers disagreed with the stance taken by the Twitter troll who went after Hailey. One such fan noted songstress Ariana Grande’s recent essay about how single girls and women are often “slut-shamed” when they spend time with the opposite sex.

Yet, it seems to have been forgotten that this practice is routine in most media reports on Bieber.

Last year, and since, Hailey and mutual friend, model Kendall Jenner, publicly denied that either of them were dating Justin after gossip site-driven rumors mounted. While attending the Ridley Scott-directed Exodus premiere in December, Hailey told E! News that she and Justin were childhood friends.

“I’ve known him since I was so young — since I was like 13 — and we’ve just been good friends over the years,” Baldwin explained. “We have just stayed close and there’s nothing more to it than that.”

Back in January, Hailey took to Twitter to blast the gossip site Hollywood Life for claiming she and Kendall went on a “three-way date” with Justin to a Los Angeles comedy club.

Then, in February, Hailey told E! News that she was just trying to help Justin get through a trying time.

“He’s just going through a time in his life where he’s transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him,” the model insisted, adding, “And I’m trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him.”

In May, Hailey again took to Twitter to completely rip Hollywood Life for its fabricated claim that she and Kendall were in a sexual “love triangle” with Justin.

Notably, following Hailey’s tweet, the notorious website changed the text in its report and the headline from “Sex Triangle” to “Love Triangle.” Later that same month, Justin posted a riot act Instagram message (which he would subsequently delete), in which he blasted Hollywood Life for falsely claiming that Hillsong Church pastors want him to get married to his former girlfriend Selena Gomez.

For his part, Justin has repeatedly stated that he is single.

Given the nature of (some) Justin Bieber fans and (many) gossip sites, it is very likely that Hailey and any female seen with Justin will continue to face online attacks and rumors.

Hailey took to Twitter on Tuesday to once again state her relationship status, although she quickly deleted it. The tweet previously read, “I’m single. So everyone just quit while you’re ahead with the assumptions.” The model replaced it with the three posts below.
