Ebony From ’16 & Pregnant’ Expecting Again

Ebony and Joshua Rendon, the couple featured on season 1 of the MTV hit show 16 & Pregnant are expecting again, according to reports from TMZ.

Ebony Rendon, who’s married to Joshua, is said to be 10 weeks pregnant and is very excited although it wasn’t a planned pregnancy. According to Joshua Rendon he told TMZ, “We are extremely excited for the baby.”

One would think this would be a joyous celebration for the young couple, both 20, but as MTV seems to document on every episode, most couples on 16 & Pregnant, especially Ebony and Joshua, are stretched beyond their own means in terms of raising children.

Ebony and Joshua Rendon had a tulmultous year. Not even six months ago their two year-old daughter was taken into Child Protective Services in Arkansas. When the incident happened Joshua, 20, blamed the incident on himself after he and his wife were arrested and charged with child endangerment after their house was found to be filled with maggots and feces on the wall. Joshua at the time of the incident said, “It was fair for them to charge us with this. [Our house] wasn’t clean.”

Surprisingly or not-so surprisingly, Child Protective Services still has their two year-old daughter in their custody, but according to the couple they’re working on cleaning up the living conditions and have finished with parenting classes since the incident. As of right now the case is pending and the couple only gets visitation rights.

The couple are currently fighting to regain complete custody of their daughter and claim that they’re ready for another child.
