Watch Canada Vs. Netherlands Live Online: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 Streaming Video From Montreal

Women’s soccer fans can watch live online as Canada meets the Netherlands, with both teams battling for survival in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. A loss by the Dutch likely sends the World Cup debutantes home. But if Canada suffers the upset, the team’s only hope of advancing out of the group stage would be as one of the top four third-place teams that will round out the Round of 16.

To find out how to watch the Canada vs. the Netherlands FIFA 2015 Women’s World Cup match live online, see the information at the bottom of this article. The crucial Group A showdown is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. at what is expected to a sold-out crowd of more than 65,000 at Olympic Stadium in Montreal. That’s 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Monday, June 15.

With four points from a win over China and a draw with New Zealand, Canada sits atop of Group A after two games with only Monday’s game left to play. If China defeats New Zealand Monday, as expected, Canada must beat the Netherlands to stay on top of the group. A draw, under that scenario would also send Canada through as the second place team.

But if Canada loses to the Netherlands and China beats New Zealand, the host nation finishes third and stands a chance of failing to get out of the group stage at all.

The major priority for Coach John Herdman going into Monday’s all-important match is simple — find a way to get the ball in the back of the net. Canada has not yet scored a goal from open play in the World Cup, the team’s lone goal coming from the penalty spot to lift Canada to a 1-0 opening win over China.

Despite Herdman’s declaration that Canada “should” beat New Zealand in its second match, the teams played to a scoreless draw.

Herdman said on Saturday that he would shake up his starting 11 for the Netherlands match, bringing some younger legs into the lineup — though he did not specify who was coming in and who would be left out.

“Game three you always want to freshen things up,” Herdman told assembled media on Saturday. “You know you’re going to come up against better teams in the next rounds and not to say that the Dutch aren’t a good team but you know that you got some tough tests coming next so we’re thinking about games ahead.”

Of course, Canada must first defeat the Netherlands to insure that there are any games ahead.
