Brandi Cyrus CMT Worst-Dressed Dissed As Bristol Palin, Miley Cyrus Clash Over Parents, LGBT [Photos]
Brandi Cyrus earned the CMT Awards worst-dressed prize. Wearing a see-through gown with flowers and cacti, Miley Cyrus’ big sister looked like her floral fashion included wounds, according to the Gloss.
But Brandi wasn’t alone in having a bummer in the summer for her fashion choices. Nicole Kidman chose a discordant lace-up bottom with a fuzzy-wuzzy top that would have looked great on Winnie the Pooh.
However, although Brandi got dissed by the fashion site, her father Billy Ray Cyrus is proud of all his children, reported Entertainment Tonight.
Discussing the possibility that Miley will collaborate with Caitlyn Jenner, Billy Ray was delighted.
“She’s always getting into something new,” said the Cyrus patriarch. “I wouldn’t be surprised at all.”
In addition, Billy Ray collaborated with Noah, who is 15-years-old.
“We did a little thing last week,” he said of Miley’s little sister. “She’s really developed a heck of a set of pipes on her. She’s really a great singer and she’s got great instincts on the music. It’ll be fun to watch where she goes and what she does from here.”
And Brandi emphasized that the entire family is musical.
“Every single one of us, yeah,” she said. “We each have our own thing, which is really cool. It is very rare that an entire family can do that and share that together and all support each other. That’s the best part.”
But not everyone is a fan of the Cyrus family. Bristol Palin dissed Miley for her discussion with Paper magazine about her parents, reported Fox News.
Miley attacked fundamentalist lawmakers and those who interpret the Bible literally.
“Those people [shouldn’t] get to make our laws. That’s f–king insane. We’ve outgrown that fairy tale, like we’ve outgrown f–king Santa and the tooth fairy.”
In addition, Cyrus referred to parents Tish and Billy Ray as conservative and used a derogatory adjective.
Bristol launched her attack based on what Palin sees as hypocritical.
“Is it just me or does it seem more than a little fake that someone claiming to be accepting of everyone and everything would spew such judgment towards her own parents and their deeply held religious beliefs? She wants everyone else to let her be ‘free to be Miley,’ but seems unwilling to offer the same respect to her parents and those who wish to live out their Christian faith.”
