Sarah Palin’s AG Pick: “If a guy can’t rape his wife…who’s he gonna rape?”

Wayne Anthony Ross, the man picked by Sarah Palin to be the next Attorney General of Alaska has some rather interesting views about women.

Ross is involved with an extreme men’s rights group called DAD. The group, among other things believes that the Government shouldn’t interfere with family matters in the home. Guilt by association doesn’t necessarily cut it though in Alaska, after all Sarah Palin’s husband was a member of the Alaska Secessionist Party, and Palin spoke at their events. No, in Alaska, you actually have to really be involved…and Ross was. Here’s what Ross is alleged to have had to say about women at a DAD event:

“If a guy can’t rape his wife…who’s he gonna rape?”

“There wouldn’t be an issue with domestic violence if women would learn to keep their mouths shut.”

The Attorney General appointment process in Alaska involves public hearings, and sites including The Mudflats are gathering support to oppose Ross’ appointment.
