WWE News: Potential Spoilers For Sunday’s ‘Money In The Bank’ Pay-Per-View

One of WWE’s most exciting pay-per-views of the year — Money in the Bank — takes place this Sunday night at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Every year, the Money in the Bank show pretty much reveals who the future WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be. Since the inaugural match in 2005, only two men have failed to win the WWE Title after winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.

As of today, Roman Reigns is still the strong favorite to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, but, it appears that contrary to previous reports and rumors, he won’t be cashing in his briefcase. Seth Rollins is being advertised as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on the upcoming live events, and his scheduled opponent is none other than Roman Reigns. It appears that Rollins will be defending the title against either Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns at July’s Battleground show.

In regards to the Intercontinental Championship, it looks like Ryback will defeat the Big Show this Sunday, and his next opponent will be Bray Wyatt. Just in case you’ve forgotten, Ryback was defeated by Wyatt back at WWE Payback, and at the time, it was supposed to be a one-off. However, it appears that WWE will now use Wyatt’s victory over Ryback to make him the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship, which could lead to Wyatt winning his first ever championship in WWE.

Another feud that will continue after the Money in the Bank show is a feud that seems to never end, and that’s Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus. Back at Extreme Rules, Ziggler defeated Sheamus, and then Sheamus defeated Ziggler at the following pay-per-view. Since then, Ziggler and Sheamus have taken a temporary break, but they will pick up where they left off after Sunday because of Rusev’s injury, which is preventing WWE from doing the Rusev vs. Ziggler match that they were planning prior to Rusev’s foot injury.

As for the rest of the card, King Barrett is the favorite to defeat R-Truth on the pre-show, John Cena is the favorite to defeat Kevin Owens, The New Day are the favorites to retain the WWE Tag-Team Titles, and Nikki Bella is the favorite to retain the WWE Divas Championship by defeating Paige.

Also, a side-note on Nikki Bella retaining the Divas Championship — apparently the idea is for her to break AJ Lee’s record as the longest-reigning Divas Champion in history. She’s about 90 days away from doing so.
