Amanda Bynes Arrested For DUI: Back On The Road

Amanda Bynes DUIAmanda Bynes was arrested early Friday morning at 3 a.m. on suspicion of DUI after the former Nickelodeon star allegedly hit a sheriff’s cruiser while attempting to pass in her black BMW.

After being arrested near the intersection of Robertson and Santa Monica boulevards in West Hollywood, Bynes spent several hours locked in jail before her $5,000 bail was posted.

Bynes was then seen walking, clothed in the same scandalous outfit she was wearing when she allegedly crashed into a cop’s car, to the tow yard at which the black BMW she was driving was impounded. According to TMZ:

“The young actress [Amanda Bynes] was clearly suffering from a painful hangover.”

The young actress, who was named one of Teen People’s “25 Hottest Stars Under 25″ back in 2006 and again in 2007, was listed as the fifth highest paid celebrity under the age of 21 as her earnings were reportedly $2.5 million at the time. She’s well known for her roles in the hit television series The Amanda Show and All That, both of which were popular Nickelodeon shows in the 1990s and early 2000s.

This isn’t the first time Amanda has found herself in trouble with the law as she was allegedly pulled over just last month for talking on her cellular phone while behind the wheel. While the officer was busy writing her a ticket, she decided it would be an excellent opportunity to simply drive away. After the incident, she did make a personal appearance at the police station in order to sign the traffic ticket. At this time, there have been no additional charges filed stemming from the incident.

Bynes is currently out on bail and back on the road after what was quite possibly one of the most disastrous nights of her life.

    “On Mar. 17, Bynes was pulled over for talking on her cell phone while driving, but took off while the police officer was writing her up.” (like he wasn’t going to know who she was..did she get a ticket?)
    Also, what hair color is that? Looks like old lady hair color. And her face is a different color then her neck.
