Bristol Palin Calls Out Miley Cyrus For Lack Of ‘Acceptance’ Towards Christians And Their ‘Conservative’ Views
Bristol Palin is not impressed with Miley Cyrus’ recent cover and interview with Paper magazine, then again, was anyone expecting her to be?
According to People, Bristol Palin is calling Miley Cyrus out as a hypocrite for preaching tolerance during her interview with Paper magazine while at the same time criticizing conservative Christians, including her own parents.
“While her nude photo shoot has attracted the attention of many, it is her hilarious tirade about tolerance that turned my head,” said Palin in a blog post.
E! News went on to say that during her interview with Paper, Miley expressed disapproval of certain Bible verses and of lawmakers who don’t support the LGBT community. She went on to reportedly joke about her parents and their views calling them “conservative-a** mother**kers.”
It’s these statements that got Bristol Palin all hot and bothered. In her post, Palin goes on to question how someone who claims to be judgment-free could call out their own parents for their personal views.
“Is it just me or does it seem more than a little fake that someone claiming to be accepting of everyone and everything would spew such judgment towards her own parents and their deeply held religious beliefs? She wants everyone else to let her be ‘free to be Miley,’ but seems unwilling to offer the same respect to her parents and those who wish to live out their Christian faith. Oh, Miley. Thanks for giving us the best example of what ‘tolerance’ looks like in Hollywood: it looks a lot like contempt.”
Bristol Palin took to Twitter to share her blog post, and she received quite a few different responses regarding the issue.
