Iggy Azalea Cancels Six Months Of Work Amid Pregnancy Rumors
What’s going on with Iggy Azalea? First she scraps her tour (due to poor ticket sales), then she cancels a pride festival performance, and now she wiped out six months of work? Is Iggy Azalea on the verge of tarnishing her already controversial career or does this have to do with rumors circulating that she’s pregnant?
We’re not exactly sure, but we do know she’s engaged. Her boyfriend, LA Laker Nick Young, popped the question, and then shortly after that were rumors that Azalea was pregnant.
Although her pregnancy hasn’t been confirmed, we do have confirmation that she’s clearing out her schedule for the next six months.
Azalea revealed her plans in tweets to fans who were questioning what’s going on with new music. Keep in mind the only new music she’s put out this year is the single with Britney Spears, which has flopped on the charts.

Another interesting question is if Iggy is going to come up with a new musical identity. Since she emerged from the scene, Iggy’s musical stylings and image were questioned. Azalea raps with a southern inflection, but her speaking voice is clearly Aussie. Some people have complained that she’s appropriating urban culture for radio spins. That said, it doesn’t look like Iggy is really worried about what people think because she has no plans to abandon her identity in the music world.

Apparently Iggy knows the gossip that’s surrounding her. In response to the rumors and the whispers that her career is done after the canceled appearances, Iggy responded to her fans on Twitter.
